🗽 Local Commitment:

Locally, I'm the founder of a scholarship aimed at promoting higher education among BIPOC students in NYC and a recipient of the Volunteer Presidential Service Award. 


🌍 Global Impact:

I've had the privilege of serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique, where I took on multiple roles, including that of a high school teacher and a youth development coordinator. Additionally, I have co-developed and facilitated a Participatory Action Research workshop in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
